Arrowhead Elementary students have principal Ben Gillikin on the run; staff and students have fun wi

The Arrowhead Girls on the Run Club completed a practice 5K this week.

Many staff members and parents ran with the girls to cheer them on; others stationed themselves along the route, with posters to encourage the girls to keep going.

Even our Principal Ben Gillikin and Assistant Principal Alison Ready joined in the fun.

Arrowhood's "twin day" was twice the fun

The Arrowhead Elementary SCA sponsored a "Twin Day" on Friday, December 8.

Students and staff joined in the fun.

First-graders, Kamari Jeter and Leo Austin, found great shirts for twin day, sporting the phrase, "Sorry, I'm no longer accepting homework."

Teacher assistants, Angela Aspinwall and Christine Wray, sported a two-headed Christmas sweater for twin day.

Fifth-graders, Maddie McKenna, Taylor Robertson and Lexi Rush couldn't choose just one person, so they dressed up as triplets for the day.
