Hazardous materials team trains while playing miniature golf, helps build dexterity and mobility ski
Playing miniature golf is usually pretty easy, but it can be a giant challenge when playing while wearing a Level "A" entry hazardous materials protection suit.
The Virginia Beach Fire Department's "haz mat" team chose this unusual location recently, for this training to improve dexterity and mobility skills, while wearing one of these protective suits.
Rumor has it that the PGA is looking at this as a possible event in this year's Masters Tournament.
Not really. but this actually was a great way to train in these suits, and yes, it was fun, too.
