Motorcycle driver, rider badly hurt on Ferrell Pkwy., hit by minivan
Yener Earolon, 26, has been charged with driving a minivan with a suspended operators license, reckless driving and having no vehicular insurance in connection to an accident occurring this morning around 7:47 a.m. when police received a call for service about a motorcycle traveling southbound on Indian Lakes Boulevard that was struck by a minivan traveling eastbound on Ferrell Parkway.
The motorcycle's driver and passenger sustained serious injuries and were taken to a medical facility for treatment.
Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in this crash and the case is under investigation, with Virginia Beach Police Department Master Police Officer T. Schultz assigned as the lead investigator.
Further charges are pending.
