Reading Makes Cents is a financial literacy program available to K – 5 students throughout Virginia.

To qualify, Addison was required to read or listen to at least five books focused on financial concepts, like wants and needs, saving and spending, and more.

She submitted her entry form, signed by her parent.

Only two students were chosen, from each of the seven Virginia regions, to be the recipient of a Virginia529 college account, with an initial balance of $529.
