Don't pay more than $8 to see Replicas; it's just an average film

Some film critics have disparaged Keanu Reeves' acting abilities, but I happen to enjoy them a lot, based on his unique, low key, acting style.

Replicas shows Keanu still turning in a good performance, with an adequate plot and a decent supporting cast, but it's not anything spectacular.

The movie succeeds in giving an eerie edge, and, in making the audience wonder what the outcome will be, due to the main character's actions; but it's just an average film.

John Ortiz is notable in playing his role and he keeps the movie interesting, with his exchanges with Reeves.

I didn't expect much from seeing the trailers that were released and if I wasn't a film-reviewer, this would have been seen, by me, later on, on Netflix, or would have been a Redbox rental.

The movie is decent enough for the big screen, if you really want to hit the theater and have seen everything else on your movie list.

Also, I wouldn't pay more than $8 to see the film. That's the review.
