"Downsizing" is very slow-paced, uneventful, go see "Jumanji" or "Pitch Perfect 3" instead
Downsizing is a tale about a man who goes to extremes to achieve happiness, only to be disappointed by the results.
A great idea for a movie, since so many struggle to achieve happiness, yet the true focus of this movie is not the main character's decision to live out his life as a miniature man, but more so what choices will make him happy.
This comedy-drama is disappointing, extremely slow-paced and rarely eventful.
It has wonderful acting from the cast and instances of humorous dialogue, but the movie doesn't have any sensational elements that warrant a reason to purchase a ticket.
With other releases this week like, Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle, and Pitch Perfect 3, I predict this film will be last at the box office.
I had hopes it would be more exciting, especially with such a wonderful premise, but there isn't anything gigantic about this film, pun very much intended.
It's not worth the trip to the theatres. That's the review.
