Rosemont Forest ES hosts authors Betty Oliver, Marc Nobleman

Rosemont Forest Elementary second-graders recently celebrated "Reading Month" with local author and former Virginia Beach public school teacher, Betty Oliver, who wrote the book, Travel the Seven Continents of the World with Ollie and Mollie.  She is pictured here with students, Zuri Richards, Tiana Stroman, Zander Connock and Giselle Gates, who all won a signed copy of her book.



Marc Nobleman recently spoke to grades three through five at Rosemont Forest Elementary and is pictured here with Grayson Moore, Trinity Powell, Curtis Avant, Otis Harris, Reese Kovacs, Paul Chapman, Olivia May, Caleb Rzepnicki and Niko Bianci.


His nonfiction works include, Bill the Boy Wonder: The Secret Co-Creator of Batman, inspired the Hulu documentary, Batman & Bill;  Boys of Steel: The Creators of Superman, made front page of USA Today; and Fairy Spell: How Two Girls Convinced the World That Fairies Are Real.


His fiction works include, The Chupacabra Ate the Candelabra, picture book comedy about the Latino myth; and Brave Like My Brother, a World War II novel told through letters.
