A man died early Sunday morning, after having what appears to be a heart attack, and was thrown from his pickup truck in the 600 block of Chapel Lake Drive, near Hilltop and London Bridge. He was 20 years old. This case is under investigation by the Virginia Beach Police Department's Fatal Accident Crash Team.
A 22-year-old woman was found stabbed early Sunday morning at 1724 Potters Road in the Oceana area, where the Mermaids Gentlemen's Club is located, according to police. She was taken to a local hospital for additional medical treatment. The suspect fled at the scene and is still free. This case is under investigation by police detectives.

On Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at about 1:47 p.m., Virginia Beach Emergency Communications received a report of a crash at the intersection of Princess Anne Road and Fitztown Road, in the southern area of Virginia Beach.
This crash involved a motorcycle and a recycling truck.
First-responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.
Investigators determined that a 2012 Autocar recycling truck was stopped at stop sign, facing eastbound on in the 5700 block of Fitztown Road.
A 2009 BMW motorcycle was heading southbound on Princess Anne Road, approaching Fitztown Road.
The truck crossed over Princess Anne Road and into the motorcycle's path.
This fatality remains under investigation by members of the Virginia Beach Police Department's Fatal Crash Team.
No charges have been obtained at this time.
