VB's mayor holding first public meeings; six of them, by Christmas

Virginia Beach Mayor Robert Dyer, who just took office last month, is holding a series public meetings this month, with local residents.

 

Free and open to the public, he will be available for an hour at each location:

 

Wednesday, Dec. 12, from 2 to 3 p.m., at the Princess Anne Recreation Center, 1400 Nimmo Parkway; and from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Kempsville Recreation Center, 800 Monmouth Lane.

 

Thursday, Dec. 13, from 5 to 6 p.m., at the Oceanfront Area Library, 700 Virginia Beach Blvd.

 

Friday, Dec. 14, from 2 to 3 p.m., at the Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library, 4100 Virginia Beach Blvd.

 

Tuesday, Dec. 18, from 4 to 5 p.m., at the Bow Creek Recreation Center, 3427 Club House Road.

 

Wednesday, Dec. 19, from 5 to 6 p.m., at the Bayside Recreation Center, 4500 First Court Road.
