Curse of La Llorona is not an epic, but it's a pretty scary ghost tale

April 23, 2019

The Curse of La Llorona is pretty good at pulling people immediately into the plot, with its opening scenes.

While quite a few components reflect the typical ghost story, it still manages to keep your interest with impressive acting from young, Roman Christou and Jaynee-Lynne Kinchen.

Veterans Linda Cardellini, Sean Patrick Thomas and Raymond Cruz keep you entertained, supporting the smooth execution of the plot.

Although I wouldn't classify this as an epic film, I was happy to see it in the theaters.

This is the film for movie-lovers who want to see a decent film, as long as they have the time and money.

It's not a must-see, but it's not garbage.
