The Intruder offers a wide range of emotional levels; a good thriller

May 6, 2019

The Intruder's premise is not anything new, yet, the actors, dialogue and visual effects make this a good movie to see. It gave me more than I expected, since it's based on a very popular theme.

Scenes between Michael Ealy and Dennis Quaid give you the sense of tension, that will lead to a much-anticipated explosion.

Joseph Sikora plays the role of a jerk exceptionally well and he is good for the rest of the cast.

Meagan Good provides a wide range of emotions in this mystery thriller as the story progresses, conveying her character's thoughts through facial expressions.

That is one element that is done very well in the film, the use of body language and the subtle hints that the actors express to each other and the viewers.

It's a good film I was content to pay for.

PLOT SUMMARY: Scott and Annie Russell couldn't be happier after buying their dream home from a mysterious and lonely widower, named Charlie, in Napa Valley, Calif. Their newfound paradise soon turns into a living nightmare when Charlie, still strangely attached to the house, begins to show up and interfere in their daily lives. When his erratic behavior turns to obsession, the young couple soon find themselves caught up in a violent confrontation that threatens to destroy everything they hold dear.
