Ryoshin-Kan named Dojo of the Year; rocked Landstown Spring Fling

Congratulations to the Dragon Force National Karate Demo Team on performing an awesome karate demonstration at the Gathering of Styles martial arts showcase, held recently at the Sheraton Oceanfront Hotel in Virginia Beach.

 

Team Dragon Force also participated in seminars and photo shoots with Eddie Thomas, Don “The Dragon” Wilson and Troy Price, among others. 

 

Ryoshin-Kan Karate School was awarded the “Dojo of the Year 2019” and I,  Hanshi Tim Thompson, was very honored to receive the award from the founder of the Gathering of Styles, Eric Caldeira. 

 

Well done, to the following Dragon Force Demo Team members; Sensei Tim Thompon, Sensei Michael Milliman, Hayden Bowles, Zachary Bowles, Alondra Duenas, Alejandro Duenas, Alex Hill, Sammy Assassa and Victor Rodriguez.

Landstown Spring Fling

 

The Dragon Force Demo Team and Ryoshin-Kan karate students rocked the Dragon Force Karate Show at the Landstown Spring Fling Festival, held recently at the Landstown Community Park.

 

All students did a great job on all demo routines, especially, Team Kata, who performed self-defense techniques, karate stunts, kobudo, breaking and a slow motion routine. Well done to the following performers: Sensei Tim Thompson, Sensei Michael Milliman, Hayden Bowles, Zachary Bowles, Alondra Duenas, Alejandro Duenas, Alex Hill, Sammy Assassa, Victor Rodriguez, Kayla McFee, Bobby Wilson, Kyrie Spaulding, Naoki Weisser and Hoda Youssef.

Karate Summer Camp Registration

 

Registration is now open for the 2019 Karate Summer Camp program, set for June 17 to August 30, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., each weekday, at the Ryoshin-Kan Karate School.

 

Early drop off is 7 a.m. and late pick up is 7 p.m., and are available at no extra charge. Participants may sign up for one week, multiple weeks or the entire summer.  Karate camp includes: Karate training, basic to advanced tumbling, acrobatics, field trips, movie trips, talent show contest, awards and lots of fun. This is an excellent camp to experience the martial arts or for current students to get ready for upcoming belt tests, demos and tournaments. Registration forms are available at the Ryoshin-Kan Karate School or we can e-mail you one.
