There were quite a few significant changes to IT Chapter 2 from the 1990 miniseries; some to my liking, while others met my disapproval.
I felt the character, Mike, played by Isaiah Mustafa, wasn't assertive enough and that he was too secretive.
There were some changes to the plot that didn't need any revision from its predecessor, but, the visual effects were outstanding and implemented masterfully.
This version was excellent at detailing how sinister Pennywise was at manipulating young victims, and it didn't hold back on showing how vicious he was.
Bill Skarsgard is once again, brilliant, at being creepy in the clown costume, joined by great performances from The Loser Club adversaries, consisting of James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain and Jay Ryan, to name just a few.
Bill Hader was a great decision to add to the ensemble and he delivers some good laughing moments, just at the right time.
In short, the film was worth seeing on the theater screen and it was a good remake.
