I was definitely pleased with Black and Blue; the scenes had an intense and rough delivery that made you feel every bit of the fast-paced momentum.
Much respect is given to Naomi Harris for all of the physical scenes her character had to endure.
Along with Harris, there are other popular favorites, such as, Mike Colter, Nafessa Williams and Tyrese Gibson to enjoy. The audience may also recognize Frank Grillo, from two films from The Purge franchise.
There were compelling performances from the main and supporting cast, and I loved how Harris was able to convey her plight of desperation.
It was a good plot that was able to include the abuse of police power that takes place all too often in communities of color. It was worth the ticket price and qualifies as a good action movie.
