Terminator: Dark Fate's action scenes are visually stunning, due to James Cameron's production prowess. But beyond that, it sort of falls apart.
It's monumental, having Linda Hamilton re-united with Arnold Schwarzenegger, working on the franchise they successfully launched about 30 years ago.
Gabriel Luna's lethal performance was enjoyable and I'm looking forward to seeing him in more action films.
I liked Mackenzie Davis' addition to the cast, and her physical presence to the film.
While the action side of it is a pleasure to watch, the plot is quite a stretch. While the storyline is plausible enough to give the audience something to work with, it limits credible plot options for the future.
It has not yet been decided if this is the concluding film for the series, but this cash cow is starting to give out I-owe-you statements.
In any case, it's worth seeing on the big screen, due to its action sequences.
