He will sing many popular holiday songs and carols, such as “Silent Night,” “Panis Angelicus,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “O Holy Night,” as well as favorite classics from the Emerald Isle, including “Danny Boy” and “An Irish Lullaby.” He will also take song requests from the audience.
“Christmas music and church music have always held a special place in my musical life," said Cahill. "My best memories are singing in church, with my father playing the organ and my siblings performing alongside me. I have so many great memories of Christmas growing up in Ireland and I hope to share many of
them with the folks in Virginia Beach.”
From the age of four, Cahill has been devoted to the world of music, going on to receive music scholarships, study a variety of instruments and receive formal classical training in opera at the prestigious Royal Irish Academy of Music, in Dublin.

Along with being recognized and honored with music industry accolades, like being named Tenor of the Year by the Irish Music Association and winning multiple classical competitions throughout Ireland, Cahill has served since 2011 as the principal vocalist for the world-renowned Irish music show, Celtic Thunder.
In 2015, the star singer added solo artist to his list of achievements and in 2017, Cahill recorded his No. 1 world music album, "Emmet Cahill's Ireland," accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland and released by Sony Music USA label. He went on to perform to a sold out crowd at Carnegie Hall in 2018, performed as a guest artist with symphonies in Tennessee, Florida and New York City, and conquered a 75-city tour for Celtic Thunder X, the group's 10th anniversary show.
In early 2019, he recorded his follow-up CD, “Blessings of Music” and was invited to sing Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City on St. Patrick's Day. He's looking forward to being in Virginia Beach.
"I've always had a wonderful time visiting Virginia Beach on my tours," he said. "I can't wait to come back and see everyone again. The church has stunning acoustics, and we'll create a special atmosphere on the evening. I'll also be asking the audience to sing along with me, so have those voices ready and warmed up!"
